The ICCA is an
international organisation with the objective to promote national and
international ceramic art. Through
interdisciplinary projects and cooperation with universities, schools,
ceramic
companies and social institutions the ICCA aims to increase public
awareness
and improve the market perception and market value of ceramic
sculpture,
conceptual ceramics and ceramic installation. All artists
working with clay are welcome to apply for membership. A members'
exhibition is organised on an annually basis at the ICCA-Gallery in
Vienna.
Further activities include establishing a collection of international
ceramic
art and members will be invited to take part in courses, discussions,
art
fairs, competitions and international symposiums, where artists,
collectors and
educators are brought together. The ICCA is an
open platform that facilitates communication between media, artists,
scientists
and art critics. Annually
